More on the event

A residential weekend for gardening enthusiasts at Auchencairn House in South West Scotland. Your hosts, Piet and Sue Gilroy would be pleased to welcome you to their home for the weekend when the rhododendrons and azaleas are at their very best, and the riot of colour has to be seen to be believed. The weekend will include tours of three private gardens with a local rhododendron enthusiast.

The gardens included within the weekend tours are private, and so this is a completely unique chance to look around the gardens of true enthusiasts with a very knowledgeable local guide.

There will be a focus on excellent food, much of which will be sourced either in the walled gardens at Auchencairn House, from the farm, or from the sea, and guests will be encouraged to relax in the house and gardens, or to enjoy the local walks, go cycling, or trout fishing at Loch Mackie

Arrive anytime from 5pm onwards. Pre dinner in the library, and a three course dinner in the dining room at Auchencairn House.

Breakfast, then coffee, and tour of Auchencairn House gardens followed by lunch and tour of neighbouring garden followed by a three course dinner.
