The Blue Garden Room is the only bedroom in the house to overlook the walled gardens, and so the bird song is not that of the seabirds, but rather the plethora of songbirds which live within the shelter of the garden walls. This room benefits from the afternoon and evening sun.
This bedroom has a king sized bed, a cast iron free standing roll top bath and wash hand basin as well as a decorative fireplace, a writing desk and tea and coffee making facilities.
There is a large free standing roll top bath and a wash hand basin in the bedroom, the WC is just down the corridor.
During your stay, you are welcome to use the library which is a fabulous room with oak panelled walls and well stocked book shelves. Large sofas surround a huge sandstone fireplace which is a wonderful focal point for the room. Alternatively, there is seating by the windows, where on a summers day you can look out down the lawns to the sea. See more.
During your stay you will also be welcome to use the dining room, an awe inspiring, hand painted room which glows with the light reflected from the chandelier onto the gilt mirrors. Two smaller tables in the two bay window recesses seat eight each, while the large mahogany dining table comfortably seats 20. See more.
